Two licences, one point of view
Most of the files that reach this practice — a class action over an overcharge, a wage dispute, a breached contract, a charge that kept running after a subscription was cancelled — are, in the end, a legal question resting on a set of numbers. In matters that turn on charges, wages or financial statements, the accounting review is done as part of the legal work. The accounting review is part of the legal service and is not a separate accounting engagement.
The practice is independent and deliberately small: the person you met at the first meeting is the person who carries the file, from the first letter to judgment or settlement.
The route here
Yaron began his professional life in accounting — a bachelor's degree in business administration majoring in accounting, and qualification as a certified public accountant, after working at accounting firms. Alongside that he completed an Executive MBA, and afterwards a bachelor's degree in law and qualification as an advocate. Even before opening the practice he ran consumer claims himself, among them claims under section 30A of the Communications (Telecommunications and Broadcasts) Law, 5742-1982 (חוק התקשורת (בזק ושידורים), התשמ״ב-1982) — Israel's anti-spam provision — against senders of unsolicited advertising messages. The focus on consumer rights and class actions grew out of that experience.

The 2026 election propaganda petitions
Between April and August 2026, Yaron Meiri filed a series of petitions, representing himself, to the chairman of the Central Elections Committee for the 26th Knesset, Deputy President of the Supreme Court Justice Noam Sohlberg, against ministers who filmed campaign videos in their official offices. Three principal decisions drew the line: TB"K 20/26 (15 May 2026) — a government ministry may not re-share Hebrew-language content from a minister's personal political account; TB"K 28-31, 33/26 (31 May 2026) — applying the rule laid down in TB"K 5/26 Ben Meir v. Ben Gvir (as quoted in TB"K 28-31, 33/26 and TB"K 50-59/26), that a minister's office is public property and election propaganda may not be filmed there; TB"K 50-52, 54-59/26 (16 June 2026) — nine ministers, and the distinction between a minister's office and an office in the Knesset building. In the three decisions, costs were awarded in the petitioner's favour.
Not every petition succeeded. Petitions concerning videos filmed outside a minister's office, or resting on arguments not yet recognised in Israeli law — a duty to disclose AI-generated content, for example — were dismissed, and in several of those costs were awarded against the petitioner. On 16 July 2026 the Knesset carved "filming per se" in a minister's office out of the prohibition (Amendment 42 to the Modes of Propaganda Law), while the prohibition on using other public resources for propaganda was left intact. The full decisions, including those that were dismissed, are collected on the In the Media page (Hebrew), and the full legal answer to the question "can a minister film campaign videos in their office?" is on the page Can a minister film campaign videos in their office?
